Crewing At SCCA National Race - Summit Point
April 1-3, 2005
In my effort to build and race cars, I volunteered to help crew a friend's car for a weekend. It was nothing intense. I was just helping out setting tire pressures, adjusting suspension and aero configurations, fueling it up, and polishing the car between runs. Part of the reason I didn't do much more was because the car was very well prepared and ran flawlessly the whole time.
Said friend was in the S2000 class. He was fastest in practice, qualified on the pole, and won the race. It was cold and rainy but a lot of fun. I also gained a lot of insight being close to the machinery again. Here are some photos:
